A burst supply line, an overflowing tub, or a storm surge under the back door doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. We dispatch Belk units carrying industrial extraction pumps, air movers, and commercial dehumidifiers already loaded on the truck.
Hirex Water Damage started because homeowners in Belk, AL kept telling us the same story: a national hotline picked up, put them on hold, and then subcontracted the job out to whoever was cheapest and closest. Every technician on our Belk roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Each lead tech holds an IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and has personally handled clean-water, gray-water, and contaminated black-water losses, so Flood Damage Cleanup in Belk isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. We carry full general liability coverage and are licensed to operate throughout Belk, AL, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Our Belk, AL-based equipment cache means drying gear is already close by, not stuck in a truck three states away.
Anyone in Belk who has had a supply line fail overnight knows the real cost isn't the leak itself, it's how long the standing water sits before someone with the right equipment arrives. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Belk call at a time.
Water damage doesn't always look dramatic at first — some of the costliest Belk jobs we've handled began as a small, easy-to-miss problem. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If you're nodding along to any of these, get ahead of it now rather than later — our Belk dispatcher will give you an honest read on urgency, not a sales pitch.
Whether it's one bedroom carpet or an entire flooded commercial floor, our Belk crews scale the response to match the loss — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
Truck-mounted extraction equipment on every Belk rig pulls high volumes of standing water fast, so drying starts the same day instead of the next. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Once water is out, we bring in commercial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers, positioned using psychrometric readings rather than guesswork, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For Belk homeowners, that means drywall removal at the flood cut line, subfloor assessment, and content pack-out for anything that can be saved, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Multi-unit and commercial Belk properties get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment to cover the real square footage, not a token setup — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
When a Belk job involves sewage backup, our team suits up in full PPE, applies EPA-registered antimicrobials, and safely disposes of porous materials that can't be saved.
We apply antimicrobial treatment during every Belk drying job specifically to head off mold before it starts, and we'll flag any area that needs deeper remediation.
We quote the job before equipment gets plugged in, so there's no surprise line item buried in the final invoice.
Our Belk, AL warehouse keeps drying equipment close, which typically puts a Belk tech at your door inside an hour.
We document everything with photos and moisture logs and work directly with your adjuster so you're not stuck translating restoration jargon.
If moisture readings aren't where they should be at the end of the job, we come back and keep drying at no extra charge.
Our Belk team asks a handful of targeted questions so the truck that shows up already has the right gear loaded.
A licensed technician heads to your Belk address with extraction and drying equipment already loaded.
Standing water comes out first; drying equipment gets placed only after we've mapped exactly where moisture is hiding.
We re-check moisture levels daily until materials hit dry standard, then hand you full documentation for your records or your insurer.
Our Belk technicians use moisture meters at the start and the end of every job, and the final number has to hit the dry standard before we leave. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
We put that guarantee directly on the Belk work order, not just in an ad. A repeat visit under this guarantee doesn't mean starting over — we pull the original moisture logs and pick up exactly where the last visit left off.

Emergency extraction, structural drying, and sewage/contaminated water cleanup are all available 24/7 for Belk properties.
We build our paperwork specifically to match what adjusters need and will speak with your insurer on your behalf.
We take moisture meter readings on affected materials and compare them against the dry standard for that material type — a visual check alone isn't enough.
Blackwater and sewage response is a core part of what our Belk team does, not a job we sub out.
If it's safe, shut off the water source, move electronics and valuables away from the affected area, and avoid the space if standing water is near outlets.
Yes, we regularly respond to commercial and multi-unit losses in Belk, including retail, restaurants, and office space.
Most Belk residential jobs dry out in 3 to 5 days depending on how much material got wet and how long it sat before extraction.
Not if it's addressed quickly — mold generally needs 24-48 hours of sustained moisture, which is exactly why fast extraction matters.
